How to become an official umpire with LUA:

1. Must pass an exam that shows you are proficient in the rules.
2. Must attend all training meetings.
3. Must be fingerprinted in order to work high school games. See instructions attached.
4. Must turn in application and affidavit to section 6 office. See instructions attached.
5. See arbiter pay sign-up sheet.
6. Buy your equipment
7. Go in arbiter sports and check off the box “Ready”. You will then be assigned games.
