The Lockport Umpires Association was founded in 1947 as a charter member of the New York State Umpires Association and incorporated in 2001. The LUA’s Section 6 high school baseball includes Lockport, Starpoint, Wilson, Newfane, Barker, Royhart, Albion, Medina, and Akron high schools. After the high school season, LUA umpires for Lockport Little League, Anjo, travel baseball, Royhart baseball, Somerset baseball, Pendleton baseball, and various tournaments throughout Niagara County.
